In Tretayugam, all people used to perform Rasalingarchana. Lord Srimannarayna who is the preserver of all the worlds, regularly performed archanas and abhishekas to the Sapphire Siva lingam (indraneelamani Siva lingam Sanskrit). Poojya Swamyji who spent five days in meditation and had set out to North India along with some scholars of Saiva Kshetram. They stayed there at one place and walked a distance of 8 km and knocked a door. Then a Muslim came out of the house and asked who they were what they wanted. When Swamyji asked his to give the gem he had, then the Muslim, to the surprise of every one there happily carried the gem on his head and handed it over to Swamyji amid distribution of sweets. This Rasalingam (Sapphire Lingam) which was brought to the Kshetram all the way from north India to south India will provide health to the devotees who need it in an amazing manner.
